Everyday Magic: Basil

Everyday Magic: Basil

I come from the school of "use what you have to make magic everyday," so I feel like this Everyday Magic Series is the best way for me to start this blogging journey.

So let's set the mood.

*cues Stevie Wonder's Life of Plants*

Our plant allies offer powerful support in our spiritual journey. But *ACCESSIBLE* plant allies?

Ooh.. right there.. that's the spot!

I love accessible plant allies. Whipping up a quick herbal bath or infused tea using the herbs and plants I can find in a garden or in my neighborhood Publix is my favorite type of witchery.

Let's start with one of favorite herbs.

Basil.

I just like the way it sounds.

Basil...

I could name a child that.

Err, anyway...

Basil is a sweet, tender herb and a powerful plant ally that offers spiritual, emotional, and physical support. And because you can grow it easily on your windowsill or pick up some from your neighborhood market, it's a favorite Everyday Magic ingredient.

You telling me I can whip up an herbal bath, a relaxing tea, and a pesto with the same herb?!

Yes. Yes, I am.

Two bunches please.

Coming right up!
